Tiffany – Love More Than I Can Say
She is the first girl I falls in love with, and she will also be the last one.
We have been together for one year. I still remember the day I first met her. That day at the cross in front of my dormitory building she wore a pure white dress and held several books in her arms. It seemed that she was waiting someone because she was looking around. The rain in the summer could never be forecasted. Several minutes ago it was still sunny. Suddenly the clouds got together and it started to rain cats and dogs. I went to the balcony to put away the clothes and found she was her standing there and holding high the book to protect the head. Without hesitation, I scratched two umbrellas and rushed downstairs. I had not been an extrovert boy, to be exact; I had rarely spoken to girl before. I just gave the umbrella to her and ran back to the dormitory.
The next day, she came to return the umbrella. Since she didn’t know my name, she just stood at the cross like the other day. Maybe we could feel each other. I had thought she would come. I went to the balcony and saw her. This time we knew the name and telephone number of each other.
From then through the short messages, we knew more about each other: she was a shy girl; she liked reading especially novels and poetry; she sometimes contributed to some papers and magazines and her major was English. I was majored in physics and I liked reading too but not the novels and poetry. When she told me some beautiful stories, I would just listen carefully and make a few comments. Sometimes I would analyze some interesting natural scene to her.
One day, the astronomical observatory reported that there would be meteor shower; I took her to the lake to enjoy the natural wonder. I also brought a tiffany bracelet with me. We had kept chatting on the phone for one year and we never talked about love once. On this special night I would let tiffany speak out my love. When she closed her eyes and made wishes, I took out the box. I opened the box as soon as she opened her eyes. I saw the surprise in her eyes and then she dropped her head into my bosom. Without any words, we knew each other’s heart. Tiffany——Love more than I can say.

Wearing white wedding dress and tiffany ring is the dream of every American girl. As time passes, tiffany is not only a simple ring, but it has already become a symbol of eternal love. But you might feel strange if I tell you that as a boy, for quite a long time, I also wanted to get a tiffany ring. But someday when I really got it, tears of sorrow gushed out of my eyes.
I remembered that there was one time I was so close to find out by secretly slipping into her bedroom and scarcely had I put my hands on the handle of the drawer in which the box was placed, grandmother came me and scolded me a lot. Since then, whenever she was out, she would first lock her room door or merely forced me to go with her.
As time passed, I entered college, fell in love with a girl, graduated and then started my career. I almost forgot that box of grandma’s. But then, one day, bad news came that she passed away. At her funeral, standing in front of her coffin, I couldn’t help crying. We were so close in the past. I sincerely hoped that grandma would have a happy life up in the heaven.
Several days later, when I was putting it on my beautiful bride’s finger, I saw grandma’s smiling face. The eternal memory of that tiffany ring is finally passed on to me and I also know that I need to pass on that memory with the ring to my future child.
